Hospital Claims Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Hospital Claims Analyst for a remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly review managed care contracts and compare them against healthcare claims to identify underpayments
• Identify and communicate payor trends effectively
• Ensure timely follow-up and accurate record keeping through organization and documentation skills

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of operational experience, preferably in managed care or hospital patient accounts
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Moderate computer proficiency, including MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Experience with ICD-9, CPT-4, and/or HCPCS coding systems
• Experience in account resolution with third-party payors
