Hospital Collections Manager

Job Summary

To support efficient operations, the full-time Hospital Collections Manager will oversee credit and collection functions, coordinate staff activities, and ensure compliance with collection laws while working remotely or in a hybrid environment for approved states.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain interdepartmental communications and collaborate with the Billing Manager on billing-related issues
• Reduce accounts receivable days through audits, staff training, and effective management of departmental processes
• Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures while monitoring staff performance and providing development opportunities

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Five (5) years of experience in Patient Accounting and one (1) year of supervisory experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of accounting principles
• Experience in managing staff and motivating teams through positive reinforcement
• Ability to interact effectively with the public and utilize resources in an organized manner
