Hospital Collections Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Hospital Collections Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Process payments, adjustments, claims, and financial applications accurately and timely
• Coordinate with staff and reconcile account balances, pursuing payments and addressing denials
• Provide assistance and excellent customer service to patients and internal clients, while identifying trends in payment issues

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED
• 1+ years of hospital collections experience
• 1+ years of appeals and denied claims experience for a hospital/facility
• Experience navigating insurance portals for denied claims resolution
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
