Job Summary

A company is looking for a Hospital Medicare Biller (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Process patient accounts, including billing, collections, and payment posting accurately and efficiently
• Respond to and resolve inquiries from patients, insurance carriers, and internal departments
• Prepare and submit claims, follow up on unpaid accounts, and participate in revenue cycle initiatives

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• 1-2 years previous hospital and/or physician business office experience preferred
• Relevant licensure and practices as required by facility policy
• Basic general accounting and bookkeeping knowledge
• Knowledge of medical billing practices and medical terminology
