Job Summary

A healthcare organization is seeking a Patient Biller III.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing insurance and self-pay accounts, handling billing inquiries, and resolving account issues
• Expertly work on system-generated claims, edits, and reports
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge in medical insurance, billing regulations, and coding principles

Required Qualifications:

• Three years of recent acute care hospital billing and collection experience
• Thorough understanding of state and federal billing regulations
• Knowledge of UB04, revenue codes, and insurance claims appeals
• Familiarity with hospital payer contracts and reimbursement methodologies
• Experience with Epic Resolute and UB04 is preferred
