Job Summary
To support efficient financial operations, the full-time Hospital Payment Poster will verify and post payments, manage daily receipts, and ensure compliance with quality standards while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Verify and post payments to the appropriate accounts, including handling denials and rejections
- Maintain logs of daily receipts and ensure all postings balance with the site's bank deposit
- Assist with backlog receipting projects and serve as a resource for other receipting service specialists
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of hospital payment posting experience
- Proficiency in CPT and ICD-10 coding
- Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance claim processes
- Strong computer skills and ability to handle confidential information responsibly
- Experience in filing claim appeals with insurance companies
