Hospitality Leadership Instructor

Job Summary

Teaching up to 27.5 hours per week, the part-time Hospitality Leadership Instructor will plan and deliver in-class instruction on various hospitality topics, including management strategy and guest experience, while providing academic support to students.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans and deliver lectures based on the approved curriculum
• Evaluate student progress and maintain records for academic reporting
• Organize field outings for student enrichment and contribute to program improvement

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in hospitality or a related field
• At least two years of related work experience or specialized training in the hospitality industry if the degree is not in hospitality
• Ability to facilitate project-based learning and support student growth
• Participation in professional development activities
• Commitment to attending quarterly instructor in-service meetings
