Job Summary
Teaching up to 27.5 hours per week, the part-time Hospitality Leadership Instructor will plan and deliver in-class instruction on various hospitality topics, including management strategy and guest experience, while providing academic support to students.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare lesson plans and deliver lectures based on the approved curriculum
- Evaluate student progress and maintain records for academic reporting
- Organize field outings for student enrichment and contribute to program improvement
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in hospitality or a related field
- At least two years of related work experience or specialized training in the hospitality industry if the degree is not in hospitality
- Ability to facilitate project-based learning and support student growth
- Participation in professional development activities
- Commitment to attending quarterly instructor in-service meetings
