Hospitality Leadership Instructor

Job Summary

Teaching a range of hospitality courses, the part-time hourly Hospitality Leadership Instructor will prepare lesson plans, deliver lectures, and facilitate project-based learning while supporting student growth and retention both in-class and through academic advising.

Key responsibilities

• Teach up to 27.5 hours per week, delivering engaging lectures and facilitating discussions on hospitality topics
• Evaluate student progress using various assessment tools and maintain necessary academic records
• Organize field outings for student enrichment and actively contribute to program improvement initiatives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in hospitality or a related field
• At least two years of related work experience or evidence of specialized training in hospitality if the degree is not in the field
• Commitment to professional development and staying informed about advancements in teaching
• Ability to work effectively in a moderate noise office environment
• Physical capability to perform duties including standing, walking, and using hands for various tasks
