Housekeeping Assistant II

Job Summary

Working part-time during the evenings, the Housekeeping Assistant II will maintain cleanliness in patient discharge areas, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for patients and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of discharge areas and patient rooms
• Restock supplies and ensure all areas are adequately equipped for patient care
• Assist in the proper disposal of waste and hazardous materials following safety protocols

Required qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or environmental services preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours, particularly evenings
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper usage
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be able to follow safety and infection control procedures
