Job Summary

Working part-time during evening shifts, the Housekeeping Assistant II will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in patient discharge areas, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for patients and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of patient discharge areas and equipment
• Assist in the proper disposal of waste and hazardous materials in accordance with safety protocols
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure timely and efficient turnover of patient rooms

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a housekeeping or environmental services role preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Ability to follow safety and infection control procedures
• Availability to work evening shifts as required
