Housekeeping Assistant II

Job Summary

Working evenings in a part-time capacity, the Housekeeping Assistant II will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in patient discharge areas, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of discharge areas to meet health and safety standards
• Assist in the preparation of rooms for incoming patients by ensuring all areas are clean and stocked
• Collaborate with the Environmental Services team to support efficient discharge processes

Required qualifications

• Previous experience in a housekeeping or environmental services role preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours, particularly evenings
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Capacity to lift and move heavy objects as required
