Housing Specialist New Jersey

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Housing Specialist-1 to help identify, secure, and maintain community-based housing for members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a housing strategy for MLTSS/SNP/Medicaid membership
• Identify and manage resources for housing options
• Provide education to relevant staff on housing options and resources

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Three (3) years full-time experience assisting vulnerable populations in securing housing
• Two (2) years work experience with a public agency or in a related social service field
• Familiarity with public and private housing resources and stakeholders
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and Managed Long Term Services and Supports (MLTSS)
