HPC Advanced Support Specialist

Job Summary

Providing advanced customer support expertise, the full-time HPC Advanced Support Specialist will ensure reliable access to critical supercomputing resources for DoD scientists while working remotely and requiring an active DoD Secret Clearance.

Key responsibilities

• Install and verify user-requested software applications and manage associated environments
• Assess, install, and verify software on the HPC platform, coordinating with specialists to resolve incompatibilities
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and workflows for ticket management between support tiers

Required qualifications

• Must hold an active in-scope Secret clearance prior to start (U.S. Citizenship required)
• Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience, a Master's degree with 6 years, or equivalent experience
• Effective oral and written communication skills with users and office staff
