HPC Networking Operations Engineer

Job Summary

Monitoring and maintaining the health of InfiniBand and Ethernet fabrics, the full-time Operations Engineer for HPC Networking will troubleshoot connectivity issues, support fabric bring-up, and enhance operational tooling in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor health and performance of InfiniBand and Ethernet fabrics including switches, HCAs, and transceivers
• Investigate and resolve fabric issues related to connectivity, congestion, and performance regressions
• Support the bring-up of new fabrics alongside data center operations and customer-facing teams

Required qualifications

• Experience operating InfiniBand fabrics in production, including subnet management and monitoring
• Proficiency in debugging the full stack from cables to switch firmware and drivers
• Ability to script operational tasks using languages such as bash, python, or go
• Experience with Ethernet RoCE, Spectrum-X, or large-scale GPU cluster networking is a plus
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on cable plant hygiene and incident resolution
