HPC Systems Engineer
Job Summary
To support mission-critical High Performance Computing (HPC) environments, the remote HPC Systems Engineer will design, deploy, and maintain HPC infrastructures while optimizing system performance for compute-intensive workloads.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain High Performance Computing (HPC) environments supporting compute-intensive workloads
- Administer and optimize Linux-based clustered systems and manage job scheduling and workload management platforms
- Monitor and tune system performance to ensure efficient utilization of compute, storage, and network resources
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship
- Demonstrated experience supporting High Performance Computing (HPC) or large-scale distributed computing environments
- Strong proficiency in Linux/Unix system administration
- Experience with job schedulers such as Slurm, PBS, or LSF
- Scripting experience using Bash, Python, or similar languages
