Job Summary

Supporting a multi-state program to elect pro-democracy candidates, the full-time HR and Field Operations Deputy Director will manage HR processes, compliance, and field operations while working remotely and accommodating flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Key responsibilities
  • Support the hiring process, including onboarding and compliance tracking for budget purposes
  • Manage field operations duties, including office setup and materials tracking, in coordination with leadership
  • Conduct regular check-ins and performance evaluations for organizing staff, ensuring effective training and development
Required qualifications
  • At least 2 cycles of experience leading operations in a campaign environment
  • Familiarity with campaign management, preferably with a field focus
  • Experience in hiring, onboarding/offboarding, and payroll coordination
  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Drive)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines under pressure
