Job Summary

Managing payroll and HR operations, the full-time HR and Payroll Specialist will ensure compliance and efficiency across the U.S. and Canada, focusing on payroll processing, employee onboarding, and benefits administration.

Key responsibilities
  • Process multi-state payroll while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
  • Oversee HR administrative tasks, including employee onboarding and health insurance setup, while serving as the point of contact for HR-related queries
  • Identify and implement improvements in payroll systems and workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Required qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in global payroll management, particularly in the U.S. and Canada
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or a related field
  • Payroll/HR Certification: CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) for the U.S. and CPP or CPM for Canada
  • Deep understanding of tax regulations and employment laws in the U.S. and Canada
  • Strong knowledge of payroll and HR software such as Workday, Gusto, or ADP Workforce Now
