Job Summary
Supporting the HR department's operations, the full-time HR Assistant will perform administrative tasks, assist with onboarding and compliance, and ensure adherence to employment laws while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in background screening and onboarding compliance for new employees
- Conduct initial orientation for newly hired employees and follow up on outstanding items
- Research and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Prior experience in an administrative role preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills
