Job Summary

Serving as a trusted HR advisor, the full-time remote People Business Partner will focus on employee relations, guiding managers through complex situations, managing leaves of absence, and supporting organizational change initiatives while leveraging AI tools to enhance HR operations.

Key responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, leading investigations and managing performance-related terminations
  • Administer and coordinate all types of leaves of absence, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and smooth transitions for employees
  • Support organizational change management efforts, partnering with leaders to develop plans that engage employees and minimize disruption
Required qualifications
  • 5-7 years of progressive HR Business Partner experience with a strong focus on employee relations
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field is preferred
  • CPHR and/or SHRM certification is an asset
  • Expert-level knowledge of Canadian and US employment law, particularly in employee relations and compliance
  • Demonstrated comfort using AI tools to enhance HR processes and documentation
