HR Credentialing Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the HR Credentialing Specialist will manage pre-employment background checks, coordinate drug testing and medical services, and provide credentialing support to new hires and internal customers.

Key responsibilities

• Verify and confirm elements of pre-employment background checks to ensure timely start dates
• Act as a liaison between candidates, screening vendors, and the talent acquisition team, delivering necessary updates and documentation
• Maintain credentialing data in the database, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory policies

Required qualifications

• A minimum of 6 months experience in a human resource or clinical credentialing specialist role
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience in a related field preferred
• 2 years of experience in a Human Resources position or similar is advantageous
• Experience with performing pre-employment background checks and drug screening
• Familiarity with radiologic technology certification boards is a plus
