Job Summary
Leading the US-based employee relations team, the full-time HR Director, Employee Relations will develop and execute strategies to foster a positive workplace environment, manage sensitive employee issues, and ensure compliance with labor laws, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and HR on employee relations matters, providing coaching and conflict mediation
- Develop and implement comprehensive employee relations strategies and policies that align with legal standards and company objectives
- Oversee the resolution of employee grievances and workplace conflicts, including complex investigations of misconduct or policy violations
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in employee relations, human resources, or employment law, preferably in retail and corporate settings
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field; master's degree or HR certification preferred
- Proven experience managing complex employee relations issues in large, multi-state or global organizations
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations (EEO, FMLA, ADA, etc.)
- Demonstrated proficiency in conflict resolution, mediation, and negotiation
