Job Summary

Providing comprehensive HR support, the onsite HR Generalist will manage employee relations, assist with recruiting and onboarding, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations in a 12-month contract position based in North NJ.

Key responsibilities
  • Provide guidance to leaders on sensitive employee relations issues, including performance management and terminations
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR programs and training for managers on people management practices
  • Conduct investigations into employee relations matters and maintain accurate records
Required qualifications
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Human Resources role
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to make critical decisions and exercise judgment in sensitive matters
  • Superior relationship and team-building skills with experience in leading teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable speaking in front of large groups
