Job Summary
To support the daily operations of the Human Resources department, the full-time HR Generalist will manage the employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and compliance, while working remotely from the DMV area.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes for new hires and departing employees
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, addressing grievances and supporting conflict resolution
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
Required Qualifications
- Must reside within the DMV (District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia) area
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 4-6 years of progressive HR experience as an HR Generalist or Senior HR Coordinator
- Hands-on experience with ADP or equivalent HRIS platforms
- Experience in IT Software Consulting, professional services, or federal government contracting is preferred
