HR Manager
Job Summary
Owning the entire HR function, the full-time HR Manager will manage recruiting, compliance, and culture initiatives while partnering with the CEO and leadership team to build scalable people processes in a fully remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruiting and develop hiring strategies in collaboration with department managers
- Ensure compliance with multi-state employment laws and manage relationships with the PEO for payroll and benefits
- Advise leadership on people strategy, performance management, and organizational decisions while driving employee engagement initiatives
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience with ownership of HR operations and strategic decisions
- Startup experience, particularly in scaling organizations from 50 to 100+ employees
- Hands-on expertise in benefits administration, multi-state compliance, and HR systems
- Proven ability to identify risks and develop solutions in HR processes
- Strong communication skills for interacting with executives and managing confidential matters
