Job Summary
Supporting policy review and restructuring initiatives, the full-time HR Policy Specialist will execute comprehensive audits, establish a policy inventory, and deploy an electronic review process while working remotely from New York State.
Key responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive policy audits and gap analyses to ensure alignment with regulatory standards
- Establish a policy inventory and design a strategic prioritization matrix for ongoing updates and revisions
- Architect and deploy an electronic policy review process to modernize workflows and improve efficiency
Required qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in regulatory knowledge, risk mitigation, policy creation, and governance
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local labor laws and compliance infrastructure
- Proven ability to conduct gap analysis and risk auditing
- Excellent technical writing skills for drafting clear and accessible policy language
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and change management across organizational levels
