Job Summary

A company is looking for a Human Resources Specialist (HR Specialist) to manage HR operations in a remote part-time role.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the employee handbook, policies, and onboarding processes
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across multiple jurisdictions
• Administer benefits, coordinate recruiting efforts, and maintain accurate HR records

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of HR generalist/specialist experience
• Experience supporting a remote workforce across multiple U.S. states
• Strong knowledge of federal employment law and multi-state compliance
• Hands-on experience with Gusto or a comparable payroll/HRIS platform
• Self-directed and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
