Job Summary

To support a shared services environment, the experienced HR Specialist will manage HR casework and employee support needs in a fully remote, contract-to-permanent role based in Richmond, Virginia.

Key responsibilities
  • Provide guidance to employees and leaders on HR matters, ensuring accurate policy application and issue resolution
  • Manage a queue of HR cases, documenting and resolving each matter with urgency and accuracy
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain compliant HR practices and enhance service delivery
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
  • At least 3 years of HR experience with a focus on employee support and case management
  • Strong knowledge of HR administration, onboarding, and HRIS-supported processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with HR technology such as Workday and Salesforce
  • Familiarity with compliance-sensitive environments, including HIPAA-regulated settings, is preferred
