HR Technical Data Steward

Job Summary

To support HR data governance and analytics initiatives, the remote contract HR Technical Data Steward will manage data quality, security, and metadata management within an Azure-based data warehouse environment, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards and effective collaboration with technical and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and enforce enterprise data governance policies and standards while monitoring compliance across the business area
• Provide technical oversight and subject matter expertise on data sources, ETL processes, and business intelligence tools
• Build and maintain a data catalog, ensuring clear documentation of data definitions, lineage, and rules

Required qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Stewardship, or Data Management
• Hands-on experience with Oracle HCM or PeopleSoft data
• Proficiency in Azure data platforms and data warehousing concepts
• Experience with data integration/ETL processes and data quality management
• Knowledge of enterprise data governance frameworks and best practices
