HSE Manager

Job Summary

To support the Construction Services business unit, the full-time salaried HSE Manager will ensure the implementation of HSE requirements on-site, manage high-risk activities throughout project stages, and monitor health and safety performance indicators while promoting a culture of safety among contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure full implementation of HSE requirements by the General Contractor and act as HSE ambassador on-site
• Identify, assess, and manage high-risk activities while coordinating safety planning with contractors and design teams
• Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Health & Safety, conducting independent audits of construction management

Required qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' experience in a senior Health & Safety role with formal qualifications in HSE management
• Degree and/or professional certification in Health & Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent)
• Extensive experience in contractor communications and coordination with project professionals
• Deep knowledge of construction HSE management procedures and compliance frameworks
• Fluency in German and English with strong communication skills
