Human Factors Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Human Factors Engineer to lead the development and implementation of their Human Factors Engineering program.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Human Factors Engineering program, execution plans, and compliance strategies
• Provide technical recommendations for design teams regarding human factors and contribute to design reviews
• Plan and execute HFE verification and validation activities, ensuring alignment with safety and performance goals

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human factors engineering, cognitive systems engineering, industrial engineering, or related field
• Experience in HFE program management, analysis, design, verification, and validation
• Hands-on operations experience in nuclear or non-nuclear environments is strongly preferred
• Familiarity with HFE regulatory requirements (e.g., NUREG-0711, NUREG-0700)
