Human Factors Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting the Human Factors Engineering team, the contract UI/Human Factors Engineer 3 will work remotely to manage usability engineering documentation and conduct task and risk analysis for medical device product development.

Key responsibilities

• Support remediation of usability-related risk analysis documentation through editing, formatting, and collating content
• Define, release, and maintain usability-related design inputs documentation
• Create and maintain tracing documentation to identify and resolve conflicts between risks and design inputs

Required qualifications

• BS in Human Factors Engineering, Biomedical Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in design controls and risk analysis for medical device product development
• Experience with digital project collaboration tools, such as Polarion or Agile PDM
• Understanding of MDR regulations and best practices for medical device human factors
• Excellent verbal communication skills in a multi-channel communication environment
