Job Summary
Applying human-centered design principles, the full-time remote Human Factors Engineer will improve workforce readiness and user adoption across healthcare information systems by evaluating user interactions, identifying usability challenges, and recommending solutions to enhance training and clinical operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support training and onboarding initiatives by developing user-centered resources and evaluating learning needs
- Collaborate with super users to gather feedback, identify adoption challenges, and promote continuous improvement
- Conduct workflow observations and usability assessments to enhance workflow efficiency and overall user experience
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Factors Engineering, Psychology, Cognitive Science, Health Informatics, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in human-centered design, usability, or healthcare technology implementation
- Experience in observing end users and identifying opportunities for improving system usability and workflow efficiency
- Experience supporting software implementations or digital transformation initiatives in healthcare settings
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate user feedback sessions with multidisciplinary stakeholders
