Human Factors I&C Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Human Factors I&C Engineer for a remote, contract opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and integration of human factors into digital I&C systems and human-system interfaces
• Conduct task analyses and collaborate with operations and engineering teams for human factors analysis and screen development
• Interface with internal and external stakeholders on technical issues and oversee supplier projects

Required Qualifications

• M.S. or PhD in human factors, industrial engineering, or equivalent, or 8+ years of relevant experience
• 5+ years of experience in I&C engineering for complex processes or nuclear systems
• At least 3 years of experience applying human factors principles in control room environments
• Familiarity with nuclear-relevant human factors and I&C standards
• Experience in I&C development, diagnostics, and implementation
