Job Summary

A company is looking for a Human Resources Assistant (OA) in the Immigration and Customs Enforcement department of the Chief Human Capital Officer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review documents and records for completeness and accuracy, and obtain missing or corrective information
  • Enter data, complete forms, correct errors or omissions, and extract, revise, or sort information in Human Resource documents, files, records, and databases using office software programs
  • Respond to inquiries regarding Human Resource entitlements and services, processing procedures and requirements, and provide relevant information based on the nature of the issue and organization serviced

Required Qualifications:
  • One year of specialized experience at the GS-06 grade level or equivalent
  • Experience processing a full range of actions, including those with unusual conditions or issues requiring deviation from standard procedures
  • Ability to assist Human Resources Specialists by performing detailed review of recruitment records and other documentation
  • Knowledge of Human Resource processes including recruitment, selections, placements, job analysis, and workforce planning
  • Ability to conduct interviews to identify and organize pertinent facts
