Job Summary
To support a 150-employee women-owned small business government contractor, the full-time remote Human Resources Associate will manage hiring and terminations, employee benefits administration, and compliance with federal and multi-state employment laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and verify compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding leave accommodations, benefits, and workplace issues
- Track, prepare, and submit various HR-related reports to ensure compliance with legal requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, HR, social sciences, or a related field
- Knowledge of federal and state labor laws
- Experience with payroll software (ADP) and project management software (Unanet)
- Strong organizational skills for tracking and meeting deadlines
- Experience in diverse HR duties, including employee benefits administration
