Job Summary
Supporting day-to-day Human Resources operations in a fully remote capacity, the full-time Human Resources Generalist will manage employee inquiries, HRIS administration, benefits coordination, and compliance while ensuring a seamless employee experience across the United States and Canada.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, and employment matters, escalating complex issues as needed
- Manage the HR onboarding process for new hires, facilitating orientation and coordinating with various stakeholders for a smooth experience
- Support HRIS administration, maintain accurate employee records, and ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of progressive Human Resources experience in an HR Generalist or HR Operations role
- Experience administering HRIS systems and maintaining accurate employee data
- Working knowledge of U.S. employment laws and regulations; familiarity with Canadian employment standards is preferred
- Experience administering employee benefits and leave programs
