Job Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist, the full-time position will manage employee relations, oversee leave management programs, and support HR initiatives while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers, providing timely guidance on HR policies and procedures
- Coordinate and monitor leave management through HRIS platforms, ensuring compliance with policies and accurate documentation
- Support the onboarding process for new hires, preparing necessary documentation and facilitating their introduction to HR policies and programs
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3-5 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a generalist role managing a wide range of HR functions
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, best practices, and regulatory requirements in both Canada and the U.S
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms; experience with Dayforce is considered a significant asset
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is mandatory
