Human Resources Generalist
Job Summary
To support a growing team, the full-time Human Resources Generalist will oversee core HR functions, drive employee engagement initiatives, and ensure compliance with HR policies while partnering with leadership in Houston, TX.
Key responsibilities
- Manage employee relations and engagement initiatives to strengthen company culture
- Lead HR compliance efforts and maintain policies in accordance with federal and state regulations
- Coach managers on building high-performing teams and assist with recruiting and onboarding processes
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or management role
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance requirements
- Proven ability to manage recruiting, employee relations, and HR operations
- Experience with HRIS systems (Paycor or similar)
- A mix of strategic vision and hands-on execution
