Job Summary
To support the Office for Human Research Protections, the part-time Human Subjects Educator and Communications Consultant will develop and deliver training and communications focused on human subjects protections and compliance, working remotely while collaborating with various stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Developing high-quality educational products and delivering training programs to enhance regulatory understanding across the research community
- Interpreting and communicating regulatory requirements to diverse stakeholders while monitoring regulatory developments and best practices
- Managing multiple education and outreach projects from planning through implementation and evaluation, ensuring timely delivery and compliance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in health or science
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience in human subjects research protections and educational outreach
- Comprehensive knowledge of human subjects research regulations, including the Common Rule and IRB operations
- Strong project planning and stakeholder management skills
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint
