Job Summary

To support a growing team, the freelance Hungarian Post-Editor will perform light and full post-editing on Machine Translation outputs, ensuring quality and accuracy while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Perform post-editing tasks on Machine Translation outputs according to client specifications
• Ensure the target text accurately reflects the source meaning and adheres to quality standards
• Correct formatting, terminology, and cultural references while maintaining grammatical accuracy

Required qualifications

• Degree in Translation, Applied Linguistics, or equivalent experience
• Native Hungarian speaker with excellent command of English
• Experience in Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE)
• Familiarity with CAT tools and technology
• Preferred experience in translation and proofreading in the technical field
