HV Transmission Interconnection Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a HV and Transmission Interconnection Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end interconnection processes for generation and large load projects
• Serve as the primary contact with utilities and stakeholders on interconnection matters
• Review interconnection study results and collaborate with engineering teams on technical oversight

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in IPP, project development, or related fields
• Experience with interconnection studies and transmission planning, particularly in ERCOT
• Strong knowledge of FERC, NERC, and ISO/RTO interconnection requirements
• Hands-on experience with tools like PSLF, PowerWorld, and PSSE
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline preferred
