HVAC Designer

Job Summary

To support the semiconductor industry, the remote HVAC Designer will plan and conduct work requiring judgment and creativity in the layout and design of mechanical systems, preparing deliverables for all project phases and participating in design meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Plans and conducts the layout and design of HVAC systems and equipment
• Prepares project deliverables including models, plans, and flow diagrams
• Coordinates designs and resolves conflicts with all disciplines and existing field conditions

Required qualifications

• Associates degree in Computer Drafting & Design or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in building mechanical design systems in semiconductor or high-tech facilities
• Extensive modeling and drafting experience using Revit and AutoCAD
• Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards
• Expertise in Navisworks for model review
