Job Summary
To achieve team sales targets within a defined geographic area, the remote-based HVAC District Sales Manager will oversee daily operations of the field sales team, develop sales strategies and budgets, and engage in direct sales activities with priority accounts.
Key responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive sales strategies and budgets to meet and exceed sales goals
- Review and authorize sales agreements, ensuring profitability and strategic alignment
- Provide coaching, guidance, and mentorship to direct reports to optimize their performance and growth
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least 8 years of related experience
- Understanding of the business impact of sales contracts and selling expenses
- Expertise in building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating, and managing time
- Substantial industry and product knowledge
