HVAC Engineer

Job Summary

HVAC Engineer, responsible for the design and development of HVAC systems and controls for passenger rail transit vehicles in a full-time, direct-hire remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute the design and development of HVAC systems, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and specifications
• Perform system performance calculations and prepare technical proposals while monitoring specification compliance
• Provide technical support and contribute to project scheduling, updates, and stakeholder communication

Required Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of HVAC or similar electromechanical equipment and principles
• Understanding of thermodynamics, physics, and systems calculations
• Experience developing technical proposals and documentation
• At least 5 years of experience as a Project Engineer or Project Manager; rail experience is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, math, or physics
