HVAC Estimator

Job Summary

Assisting in the preparation of competitive estimates for commercial HVAC projects, the full-time HVAC Estimator will work under the guidance of senior estimators to review mechanical drawings, perform take-offs, and generate proposals while maintaining estimate documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Review mechanical drawings and specifications to prepare accurate estimates
• Perform take-offs for ductwork, piping, and equipment, and generate proposals
• Coordinate with internal teams on scope validation and bidding timelines

Required qualifications

• 5 years of HVAC or construction-related experience
• General understanding of HVAC systems and terminology
• Working knowledge of applicable mechanical codes and standards
• Ability to read construction documents and mechanical plans
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and willing to learn estimating software
