HVAC Mechanical Designer

Job Summary

To support the design and development of industrial and facility systems, the full-time contract HVAC Mechanical Designer will develop mechanical system designs, prepare project deliverables, and ensure compliance with applicable codes while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and coordinate mechanical system designs, layouts, and equipment arrangements for industrial and facility projects
• Prepare project deliverables including 3D models, plans, details, and construction documents
• Perform code research and participate in design reviews to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards

Required Qualifications:

• Associates degree in Computer Drafting & Design or related work experience
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in building mechanical design systems
• Extensive modeling and drafting experience using Revit and AutoCAD
• Strong working knowledge of relevant codes and standards
• Deep knowledge of HVAC and related mechanical systems
