HVAC System Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an HVAC System Engineer responsible for the design and development of HVAC systems for passenger rail transit vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute the design and development of HVAC systems and controls, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and specifications
• Perform system performance calculations and prepare technical proposals, while developing system specifications and documentation
• Provide technical support and feedback, contribute to project scheduling, and represent the company at customer-facing events

Required Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of HVAC or similar electromechanical equipment and principles
• Understanding of thermodynamics, physics, and systems calculations
• Experience developing technical proposals and documentation
• Knowledge of refrigeration systems and relevant ISO standards
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, math, or physics, with at least 5 years of experience as a Project Engineer or Project Manager
