HVDC Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for an HVDC Engineer to support and lead HVDC related projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients in HVDC/HVAC technology selection and conduct design studies
- Liaise with OEMs for converter station specifications and support FAT/SAT testing
- Contribute to business development and represent the company at industry conferences
Required Qualifications
- Experience in electrical high-voltage engineering, particularly HVDC
- Knowledge of electrical design/studies and functional specifications related to HVDC systems
- Familiarity with offshore wind market is preferred
- Experience with consulting engineering firms or direct exposure to OEMs
- Ability to work collaboratively with various project disciplines
