Job Summary

Focused on developing and applying digital solutions for quantitative hydrogeology, the full-time Hydrogeologist will manage groundwater flow and contaminant transport studies while collaborating with senior technical staff in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Serve as a technical resource within the groundwater modeling practice, performing complex modeling assignments
  • Develop and test digital solutions for hydrologic models and support the creation of groundwater flow and transport models for various projects
  • Prepare technical reports and communicate findings to clients and stakeholders, ensuring high-quality deliverables
Required qualifications
  • Master's Degree in hydrogeology or a related field with formal training in quantitative hydrogeology and numerical modeling
  • 6-10 years of experience in groundwater flow and chemical transport modeling, including hydrologic data organization and analysis
  • Proficiency with MODFLOW and related software, as well as geographic information systems (GIS) such as ArcGIS
  • Computer programming skills in languages such as Fortran, Python, or R
  • Experience with aquifer test analysis software and familiarity with parameter estimation and uncertainty analysis tools
