Hydroinformatics Engineer

Job Summary

To support innovative solutions in water management, the full-time remote Hydroinformatics Engineer will develop and implement algorithms and analytics for optimizing water distribution and wastewater systems using real-time data, hydraulic modeling, and machine learning.

Key responsibilities:

• Act as the subject matter expert to configure, calibrate, and deploy digital twin simulation services for optimizing water and wastewater networks
• Apply optimization techniques and innovative data analytics to solve complex water resource problems
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define problems, strategize solutions, and implement actionable plans

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering; advanced degrees preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in water, sewer, or stormwater modeling
• Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software for drinking water and stormwater networks
• Experience programming in languages such as Python, R, C, or MATLAB
• Familiarity with modern data science workflows, including geospatial analysis and model parameter estimation
